Due to hostile environment in recovery boiler, conventional-stationary-limitswitch mounted on the front side of the sootblower does not last very long.
The improved design uses 2 way-limit switch which travel together with the carriage. With the new design, the limit switch is not exposed to the
extreme heat and hostile environment at the front side of the blower.
The design has been proven to significantly increase the reliability of the sootblower and the life of the switch.
